Escape has a good chorus, it just sounds like a bad Judas Priest song in the verses (while essentially playing the TUI riff). That siren at the end is pretty dumb too.

Classic album, in my opinion fight fire with fire is the worst song on here but still a good song. TAKE A LOOK TO THE SKY JUST BEFORE YOU DIE ITS THE LAST TIME YOU WILL!!!!

I have always had a soft spot for Ride the Lightning. For me, it was the perfect balance between their first four albums. I mean, it's not quite as immature as Kill 'Em All, but it was a little more thrashy and brutal than Master of Puppets, and it still had the full sound unlike ...And Justice For All. For me, its THE thrash metal album that all should be compared against.

Fade to Black and Creeping Death are by far the best songs on the album. For Whom The Bell Tolls is awesome too.

I think escape and trapped under ice are some of the best on the album. fight fire with fire and ride the lightning are my least favorite on the album. I do like every song on the album though. just my opinion
