I agree with Poet. This wore off of me after a while.

This reminds me I still haven't heard any song from this album yet, quite ironic really considering how much I raved about Turis Fratyr.

And is the drummer really 18?This Message Edited On 09.01.08

I believe this is much denser and better executed than turis. And way more epic. So yeah, good call hey143

Just saw the video for Blut im Auge. Song is pretty badass and the video is cool at parts and strange at others.

My 'metal-head' friend is too metal for this supposedly. It pisses me off a little bit that he thinks he's so metal and yet all he listens to is a bunch of metalcore and melodic death metal bands that near enough sound the same. He has no appreciation for any folk (other than Turisas), death, black, progressive etc metal. Although he does like some nu metal, bully for him :/

Time to get some new friends hahaha.

I guarantee, half the kids on this site that are into folk metal simply have no idea or appreciation for the genre on its own.

I agree, too much of a good thing.

I assume you mean they don't like pure folk?
I do, a bit of folk music rules. I don't listen to it often but I enjoy it.

lol, I was only saying & not really defending myself if that's how it came across. This album is probably a bit long, but I still find it amazing.

Agree with Wizard although I personally enjoy folk music, hence half.
