may have drastically underrated this album...Heir Apparent-Burden and Hessian Pell (my fave) are all super funky fresh...Coil and Hex Omega don't really do anything for me and Porcelain Heart is kinda stinky but all in all i really like this album...i guess i have to stop my chants of opeth being overrated and look further into their discography...still life is next i suppose...

I said the exact same thing about BwP and Ghost Reveries. Opeth are more of an acquired taste than their fans might lead you believe.

I love some of their other albums. Still Life is brilliant, but Ghost Reveries and this didn't keep me awake to much.

I agree about Still Life. This is definitely the softer, more subdued side of Opeth taking priority, but I actually prefer that for the most part.
