Very strong for a debut album, and the production weaknesses are not that jarring to me, just adds to the rawness. Vocals mixing could be better though, but the voice still comes through.
If all nu-metal was like this it wouldn't be so hated.

I'm serious when i say this, have been a bit tired of the deftones modern sound lately but this hits just the right spot right now, maybe because i enjoy raw and groovy stuff a lot more lately.

Love it or hate it there's no album like it in all music scene.
This was the third album I checked from them. It's simple, raw, emotional and ragey af. Bass is thick and badass, tks Chi Cheng. Vocally is Chino unfiltered with his best (real) screams and best high pitch melodics, even that rapping verse on Minus Blindfold is singular and too damn cool for you all.
