this was the first electronica album i ever listened to and ive loved it ever since. i friend of mine used to burn me albums i had to hear when i was first really expanding into music 4 years ago, i still have the burnt copy laying around somewhere for nostalgia

i wish i could find more awesome IDM like BoC. cuz they truly sound absolutely nothing like any of the artists mentioned so far.




well you mean really good lookalikes to BoC? because their peers like Aphex Twin and Autechre are already awesome and you can find BoC clones everywhere

Check out Tycho's song The Disconnect. Closest to capturing BoC's magic that I've heard from anyone else

i've found myself listening to more electronic music lately. (if i can blame one album for this, it'd probably be cosmogramma)



impressed by this; definitely plan to look into more of their stuff.

I think he's looking for the chilling, airy, trippy tendencies of BoC that aren't flamboyant clones but are still quality artists
