Ok Ive been listening to this all day and its definitely grown on me. I think my main issue with the production is that I find the vocals are mixed too low for my taste (but im pretty sure thats just a personal preference, since nobody else seems to have this issue lolll). Other than that this is really great. Which album should I check out next by these guys? Are the EPs worth a listen?

I'm actually not a huge fan of the EPs, they're interesting as a contrast to where the band went from there but I'd definitely listen to Blue Record and Yellow and Green (which many bad wrong people say is their worst album) first.

Make sure you check out First & Second (comp) because is their best release. Not one single weak moment there. Also check "Teiresias" and "Cavite" from the Unpersons split, as they are also very underrated songs.
