^^^ Lost some major points there. I disagree mightily, every song on With Oden On Our Side is catchy as hell. Especially Gods Of War, Hermods Ride To Hel, Prediction Of Warfare, amazing band. What the fuck? Oh and fuck this band. Hated Miasma in 05 still hate this band.

This album is great..each song is as good as the next...the only problem is all the songs kinda follow the same formula and i would like on future records if they tried to throw a couple twists in there...still if any track from this comes on I listen...

If it was a literal fight I'm pretty sure those big swedish men would kick the living shit out of these small weedy Americans ...plus one fat member ;)
Musically, at their best both are about as good as each other but overall Amon Amarth have a better back catalogue ^_^

Yea this record is possibly their best yet. Best tracks would be : Everything went black, what a horrible night to have a curse(it's a fun listen with the lyrics and all), climactic degradation and deathmask divine.

The last two songs are incredable, espically the lyrics to "Warborn" when he says:
"till I've vanquished the Christian's gods ways
oh it must be such a different world
to which those on the outside exist
at least I know who loves me here
no delusions all weakness dismissed"
sends chills, the solos in "To A Breathless Oblivion" are just killer
