The guitar sound on this album is horrible!.

I want to like this band, I really do. But the whole 'been there, heard that' saying comes to mind whenever I listen to The Devil Wears Prada. Apart from the predictable breakdowns, child-like sounding clean vocals, and at times awful gutterals, these guys do have a good energy.

I feel they should focus more on playing what comes naturally (this goes to alot of other bands in this genre) instead of riding the Metalcore wave. Behind the weird song titles, I sense some potential, but it's all drowned asunder when my mind just completely zones out whilst trying to figure out where I've heard that riff before. Hopefully, they'll put out something that comes from the heart. And yes, it seems like they're trying to hide the fact that they're a Christian Metal (and I use the term Metal very, very loosely) band at times.

Just the opposite for me. I really can't stand Mike's vocals on the new album. I think that I just have a soft spot for this album because it's what got me into "heavy" music a couple of years ago.
