Yeah, Seventh Wonder are good, so are Circus Maximus, but in the long run both lack individuality imo. Everygrey are very song-oriented which is a good thing, but they never clicked with me like others did, maybe because a lot of their stuff is pretty samey. Recreation Day is a great album though.
If you like Queensryche, try Transcendence by Crimson Glory. It's roughly the same style, but the priorities are different. It's heavier and darker overall.

Seventh Wonder sticks out my man. Mercy Falls is a jam.

No, rather because he's the best metal singer since Roy Khan tbh.

Yeah that's what I mean. He's hot. Killer. Adjectives.

Oh I love Transcendence! Thanks for reminding me about it though

Oh, nice to hear! Their first one is also great, but you probably know that one, too. Less progressive, more traditional.
When it comes to highly technical melodic metal though, I think '97 to '02 Symphony X are hard to surpass in terms of quality. Have fun with them!

Shame that these guys are slowly declining

Yeah, agreed. This was still excellent, but it all sounded worn out on Iconoclast. I like Underworld a bit better than that one, but it isn't anything special either. Just rearranging things they're known for.

I'ma fan of this one quite a bit, but their previous albums are just as good. Odyssey is a jam fo sho

This is where they really nailed the heavier sound. Still my favourite.

This one kinda wore off me with time. It's just so long-winded in places and one-sided as a whole, the latter especially when compared to their previous work. But I obviously still like it a lot. One reason for that is that this still was something new for them when it came out, so it has a fresh sound. The thrashy sound would have been great as a one-time-thing, but then Iconoclast and Underworld just expanded on it and just feel a kinda unnecessary, because they don't add that much new to it.
But like I said before, Divine Wings - The Odyssey is one hell of a run, and counting this one to it wouldn't hurt either.

Even though this sounded heavier, it still was clearly Symphony X.
But Iconoclast started a departure from their general tonality.

Nice, Mars, that track got me into the band.

Yeah, but there are signs of that in here too, especially in Seven, which sounds like an Iconoclast song in retrospective. But this one has the title track and Serpent's Kiss and all that stuff, and also, like I said, Revelation, which is just brilliantly linked to Divine Wings of Tragedy. So this one is still on the way from "old" to "new" Symphony X.
@Evo: Me too, actually. That one and the t/t.

Mhmm, the newer ones are kinda watered down versions of this.
