Very much a perfect Rammstein ballad that one.

I see, I should revisit most of their stuff. I listened to them in my teens, because my brother listened to them (like all edgy teens back then), but I only remember the big singles.

It was funny back in the day when I started discovering German thinking that many words in German were the same as in English. Then I read that the origin is the same but the use it's totally different. I learnt some of the basic phonetics of the language though.

I still pronounce words like Munich wrong (Mjunitch instead of mjunik)

Yeah and in German it's even called München instead.

Like with The Hague/Den Haag.

Just here to say that even if I'm a Germanophile, German sounds pretty ugly. Oh, and Moskau is fun.

I've always found it a beautiful language. Just my two cents.

Maybe it has to do with our Dutch GGGGGGGGGGGGGGG, but it sounds so nice and sweet to me.

I like how Dutch sounds more tbh. I like some things about German, particularly that it seems to have a bunch of words unique to the language and that's pretty cool, but it just sounds bad to my ears.

German can sound beautiful, just like any language (hell, some German poetry...damn). This is not something that Rammstein choose to exploit.

Me being unable to like how some languages sound is one of the reasons why I only read Spanish poetry. That and being too lazy to learn a new language.

Lmao at Catalan. Not in huge disagreement with this, but Spanish>Italian does not spark joy -_-

I like the grammar rules in Italian but I'm not a big fan of how it sounds. I also want to include Polish but I'm not sure if I want to put it in Meh or Good; it sounds whatever but I like their ridiculously complex rules.

How tf you gonna have Spanish as best and Portuguese as worst when they're so fucking similar?

Catalan is even more similar and it's also shit tier. Both are literally retarded Spanish, it doesn't matter to me what Cervantes said.

Dude no!!!! I'd take Portuguese over Spanish any day. It's beautifully musical and has so much gut.

It's very cliché (ha) but I love French. Plus I do agree on Japanese, it's beautiful. As is Farsi by the way.

"I'd take Portuguese over Spanish any day."
This is a personal attack.
Anyway, French is a cliché language to mention, yeah, but it does deserve to be, even its grammar rules are cool.

Je suis désolé.

And I agree. It's awesome.
