Yeah I loved it as a kid but there's almost nothing redeeming about it now, fuck George Lucas
How the fuck does one love QOTSA and hate Humbug, that makes no sense to me

Josh Homme is a riff monster with an amazing vocal style and great backing instrumentals. He creates unique riffs that not only ooze sexy rock and roll attitude, but they jam so hard. Arctic Monkeys don't even hold a candle to QOTSA. Listening to Humbug now

You realise that Homme is on like every single song on Humbug, right?

Two songs in and this is way better than I remember. I don't think I've listened to this album since it came out. Just cause Homme is on some tracks doesn't mean the band is amazing. AM is still only a 3
|
| |
AM is only a 3 for you? I thought it was at least a 4. Might have been a 4.5 if not for 2 or 3 poopy songs.

"Just cause Homme is on some tracks doesn't mean the band is amazing."
Yes, yes it does, because he's Homme
I massively overrated AM on its release but I'd still say it's around a 4. The last 4 tracks on it are unbeatable

The only song I genuinely love is Knee Socks. That song is straight up my ear pussy getting fucked gently. That song alone is like 4.5. The rest of the tracks range from sweet to bad, so a 3. Maybe a 3.5 if I want to be generous. Gotta listen to Knee Socks now

Oh god yes Knee Socks, that bridge
More Homme magic

Tracks 6 and 7 blew, and the last one is alright, but I love just about everything else.

I'll hafta jam again. I've only listened to it about five times through so maybe I'll enjoy it now more that it had some time to settle

I'm not a fan of Arabella because of unabashed Sabbath ripping off
|
| |
I really like that song, but I am not too familiar with Sabbath except for the name. Care to elaborate?

The chorus to that song is literally a rip off of Sabbath from the riffage to the vocal melody

Like, I can actually hear Ozzy in my head when the chorus hits. I like it though

Damn! Black Sabbath, the metal giants? Man, the Sputnik community would kill you if you said you didn't know them. Arabella literally rips off the exact instrumental section of the Sabbath song War Pigs.
|
| |
Like I said, I know who they are, but, from what I have heard, it didn't make me want to hear more.

Don't ever tell the Sput metal community that, bro

I don't really listen to metal, so I should be fine, lol.

I'd check them out anyway because even though they've inspired a bazillion bands and whatnot, they still remain great to this day. Their self titled is my favorite

Yeah I'm not massive on metal either but I still jam the Sabbath
