yeah this is prolly a good 4. some of the shit didn't exactly do or say much but some of it really did. "Belief", "Times of Grace" and definitely "Under the Surface" are absolutely awesome, and "End of the Harvest" also rules. Really liking the doorway as well im 4ing this

Under the Surface is crazy. The Doorway, End of the Harvest and Belief are the other best in my opinion. I don't like Away too much, it's a tad long for what it is but theres some cool parts in it.

as an individual song, it probably doesn't work as well as others (Away). but you put it in this album and listen through as a whole, it's one of my favorite moments on here, if not my favorite.

yeah i just finished it, it was kinda boring but falls in place exactly where it needed too. I may have really underrated the title track as well. I'll be listening to the record all day im really enjoying their sound now, and to think i really didn't like them until this record

this and a sun that never sets don't do as much for me as their other records.

and i think eye of every storm is comparatively dull.

def different strokes

neutral - if this is the album that is sucking you in, definitely go back to souls at zero

nah Eye of Every Storm (from what ive heard from it so far) has more variation and a multitude of different textures, where on this, really besides "Away" and the intro track most songs do the same exact thing over and over.

not that thats a poor songwriting choice, because they do it extremely well.

seems to me the people that discovered neurosis later in the piece tend prefer their last two albums, along with TSIB
