I don't think I have time to hear the whole thing tonight.
What's the best song off No Dev, Rowan?

Hmm...
I just don't think Thursday is a band for me. I will probs still give all of ND a listen one of these days, tho.

That's how I feel. They just don't click with me and they sound generic (which isn't their fault, but the bands who ripped their style off)

I actually have War all the Time. Bought it when the Thrice comparisons were getting hit so hard, and, like I said, I have always enjoyed Signals over the Air (pretty sure that was a lead single from it and is the other reason I bought it).
It was pretty forgettable when I was younger. I have listened to it again a few times since then, but my opinion of it has only been slightly more favorable.

Thursday are one of the least generic post-hardcore bands I know, their development from Full Collapse to ND is fantastic
imo their discog is amazing except for City by the Light Divided

What I meant was that so many bands copied their style that Thursday no longer impressed me. It's known as the Seinfeld affect, where the original is no longer impressive due to people copying the original into oblivion and making it seem tame in comparison

Ok I guess I can understand that, I will never agree though
especially since Seinfeld is still the greatest and 100% impressive

Seinfeld is indeed great but when it first came out, it was literally groundbreaking. Now, it's just a good show that doesn't seem that out there compared to other stuff

The ending of Steps Ascending is one of the feelsiest endings of all time

I thought Seinfeld was fucking dumb when I was a teenager. Then, I watched it again in my early twenties and thought it was hilarious.
It was a weird switch.
