There's not any substantial moral reason I can think of that you can't keep listening to Drudkh or whoever, I still do. The best pragmatic/rhetorical argument centers around whether you're giving them money to listen to them or not. Festivals like Asgardrei for example routinely feature recruiting areas for white supremacist organizations (Nokturnal Mortum, an ostensibly reformed NS band, has played that festival in recent years I think). Folks with radical beliefs can't be assumed to be benign. [2] since it ended up at the bottom of previous page and may have been missed
You don't have to do a hard dive into every black metal band's messaging, just don't dance around reality or do the apolitical meme or whatever.

For real, jam the tunes, but torrent ‘em. Don’t buy merch, and Drudkh make it real easy to skip the live sets.
And then bliss out all you care to on the outro riff from Furrows

I do have three of their albums though, I'm a CD guy. Got them very cheaply through Discogs, second hand, hope they don't get anything for that eeeeeeek. But this was before I knew about the shadiness.

Also this is always how I approached that stuff, so glad to hear others do the same thing. It's hard knowing persons whose work you enjoy (a lot!) did/thought/promoted (and do/think/promote...) stuff like that.

I mean, you've acknowledged that they're sketchy, so I don't think you deserve any shit. Also, you've most likely changed your mindset since then.

Revisit and bumping rate.
Why? Because i am too old for these type of compromise. If i revisit and the satisfaction has grown i raise my rating.
(I don’t restrain myself about music, i will not count % of 4.5–5.0 to have a mega big objectivity score, simple as that)
Have a good one m///

Haven’t listened to anything from this band, but the album title is awfully pertinent to what’s going on in Drudkh's country in the past six months and in the past eight years.

@Voivod there is a bleakness to this album that I can’t help but feel prefigured current events

not to take anything from ukrainians fighting for the existence of their country but the album title is not that heroic when you realize its actual context...
