A great album and I am still shocked that this actually turned out good. However, I do think the production does hurt this album quite a bit.

Nah it’s perfect

Tbh aside from Hail to the King (which ironically is their worst record) they’ve never had good production. But this is the first record since Waking the Fallen where I feel like some of the bad spots actually works in its favor.



A year on, still their best record imo and damn near perfect.

Matt has changed his technique again, esp for live shows, for stamina which may explain why his live voice sounds less powerful now. His comments suggest he will probably improve as he adapts with the technique changes and might have a better showing for next album and in general. I also had no idea A7X hadn't done a show in five years, even going back to before covid.
