cuz if i wanted to listen to miss machine or option paralysis i'd listen to them
i expect at least some growth between releases, especially when they're this far apart. but both songs released so far are just ho-hum typical spastic dep

seems like theyre trying a bit too hard to sound like the CI days. that's what bugs me. sure, i love CI, but they're past that - they've progressed so much with their recent two albums, with all kinds of different influences from electronic, jazz, whatever - but now it seems like they're starting to rehash old ideas because theyre running out of fresh ones.
don't get me wrong, i'm still looking forward to the album. I'm just skeptical is all.

The title track on the new record sounds like a throwback to Milk Lizard, though.
