Literally zero appeal to me, didn't get it, it happens. Then maybe I revisit in some months and it's a 5, wouldn't be the first time, sure it woukdn't be the last.

"torture" seemed a little far is all, I mean in what way exactly? This ain't no harsh noise album. Torturously tedious / dull I'd guess, idk

but yes, that happens. This isn't the easiest first time listen. If this is your intro to BoC it might be a better idea to work backwards. Inferno has a lot of variety for a BoC album

Autechre could be arguably described as overstimulating, I guess. Watching grass grow must be an intense experience for you.
