His harsh vocals. It feels like they're too loud in the mix and too thin. Many would say "wull dats cuz he sucks at screaming" but if you've seen them live you know he shakes the whole room.
Fair enough. I'd say his performance on Specular Reflection is among his best (clean singing).
Regarding the harsh vocals on Parallax, yes it could be the production. But personally it doesn't bother me. They're clearer in the mix but hey at least he varies his higher end screaming a bit.
Sadly they don't come around my area/country. But I wouldn't hesitate buying tickets of they did.
