It was either premeditated (which is fuckin cold cause this girl's being witch hunted for her mistake) or it wasn't, and he felt cornered by the crowd and let her take all the fall for it (which is also cold for the same reason)

Not that i agree with white people saying it of course

its worth considering that censoring a word just inflates the word's offensiveness when it actually gets used

Idubbbz covered this topic awhile ago in his Tana Mongeau video, as long as people keep freaking out over words then the words will keep having the power they do. Context matters in every situation

Pretty much what everyone else has already said here

It's the irl equivalent of inviting a user on here to review an album by a band call "nicer dicer", it was never going to end well

y'all targeting non-racist people for saying 'nigga' without ill intention instead of the aggressive racists who are not likely to feel guilty for saying it or agree with you in the first place

who's winning with this

Sjw don't care about context and engaging in intellectual discussions about these topics, they just want to sharpen their pitchforks.

"Not that i agree with white people saying it of course"

But it's totally cool when a black person says it. The word is inherently offensive and degrading. Fuck the double standard. Plus there's a huge difference between saying a word (especially when it's a lyric) and actually being racist.

"An oft-repeated argument is that the “N-word” is offensive, no matter who uses it. “No one should be using that word” is a go-to response whenever this unending debate resurfaces, but it has always been a cop-out. It’s an attempt to duck the nuances of what that word means in Black art, and falsely assumes that there is no power in the way that Black people have used it to undercut its intent to dehumanize."

This is such horseshit. They casually throw the word around all the fucking time to refer to each other, themselves, their family. And if they purport to always use it with nuances in place then I 100% call bullshit. Saying the word is used with nuance is the real copout.

And guitared can you please for the love of god delete that.

trying to control language is a strong, STRONG sign of fascism.

There's not a democratic, liberal way to control what people say and what they don't say. Language is a beast that cannot be tamed, not in a way that doesn't involve HEAVY censorship, public shaming and criminalization of words.

okay nobodies making the word illegal tho you're just gonna get slapped if you say it.
kendrick's like huehuehue my fascist agenda is working exactly as planned.

I've always been of the opinion that its just not the whitefolks call what we do with that word. it's not exactly a pleasant scenario, but it's a black empowerment thing which is okay in my book.

but kenny's still petty
