Agreed that t/t is best off Aenima.
T/t is also best on Lateralus, which is def my fav Tool album.

The title track is great on here but I'd say H, Pushit and Third Eye all top it tbh

I wish that Fear Inoculum's ending made use of multiple rhythms stacked up like the end of Aenima (and like ten other Tool songs). The band being all locked in together is a little underwhelming as a finale after such a long song.

Yeah but we really need to see how it builds into the next song before passing full judgment. We need that context. Tool is not a singles band.

The concept of Fear Inoculum seems to partly be about their fear of putting out a new album. "Immunity long overdue", makes sense for the opening lyric.

This is best Tool for sure, all of the non-filler tracks are golden.

I prefer this to Lateralus, haven't checked out anything else... although I will inevitably give the new one a cursory listen.

It likely has a lot of double meaning - but this could be one way to interpret it.

They’re never gonna top Cesaro Summability. Just not gonna happen. That song is their crowning jewel, their...masterpiece, if you will.
