Great album - I would "5" it if "What The Hell Have I", the best song AIC has ever done, was on this.

"Nutshell" is their best song, though.

Never seen these guys live before, but I just bought tickets. How awesome should I expected it to be?

I don't know, I've seen some live vids and they seem like they've still got it. I'd still like to see them someday

Hey man! Just working on getting ready for the Navy. My boot camp date got knocked back to November, but I'm continuing my exercise and studying until I go. I haven't been on here too much until recently :]

Yeah, Layne is still the true legend. I do, however, think William gets way too much hate; I often think too many people get clouded by 90s nostalgia with Alice in Chains, which is sad because I believe their last 2 albums deserve a chance as well. But yeah, Layne's personality and presence were pretty much the heart of the band. Well, that and Jerry's songwriting of course

Agree on DuVall actually, personally i've given their couple of albums a chance and enjoyed em a bit but production sounds a little terrible, and it sounds just decent to me. Still a handful of jams on there.

New stuff is bang average, I even prefer the Cantrell solo albums

Private Hell is a jam though, sounds like Red House Painters only twice as dark lol

An alice in chains song sounding like red house painters, that's pretty unheard of i should say ahah. Only heard boggy depot from cantrell and it had some good moments, dunno why it's taking me so long to get to degradation trip tbh. Would i love it?

TDPDH is pretty inconsistent, but there are some jams on it. BGWTB is a beaut though. No weak songs on the album and Private Hell is gorgeous.
