I think a bump from a metal expert was needed here.

The extremist group or the band?... neither makes much sense to me tbh.

Yeah I don't really get it either, thought it was me but it appears Johnny was typing with his elbows.

Poor Johnny, having to flaunt his inadequacies like that.

Haha am on my phone in a train carriage, so blame bumpy rails ;]

The band though! Different strokes to a point, but I don't see that much in between them and Tool esp on this album

Tool are eardrum terrorists after all, so just wanted to make sure.

I still don't get it by the way, odd comparison.

The way they play with tension and release has always struck me as kinda similar, and tbh Tool do this very well dynamically (Isis are leagues ahead when it comes to melody and production though). Plus the Chancellor influence in Caxide's basslines and tone is pretty strong

First two songs are the weakest in my opinion, and I was feeling disappointed by the end of Pneuma first time listening. It does get more interesting as it goes on though, and by the end it's awesome.

Yeah those first two tracks aren't the strongest here.

Pneuma is awesome and one of my faves here. Even the lyrics are awesome. T/track was one the last ones to click.
