I like both, but they really discovered themselves with this one. The sporadic touches of song-writing goodness were distributed much more evenly and the end result was more cohesive.

Earlier records are decent enough, but they feel a little forced together, doesn’t flow as smoothly.



Whereas here! Word! The way it builds and morphs the mood from Towards Down through Aftermath into Rituals is so smooth and completely unique. And then shit just runs from there.
