Just realized that the acoustic interlude on the first track in Nattens Madrigal is literally the exact same thing as the one on I Am the Wooden Doors lol

I really like the vocals on this album. I don't know what everyone is going on about. haha I believe that about the same acoustic interlude, band has admitted musical inspiration from old Ulver.

Wolf and Fear and Wooden Doors are two of the best BM tracks ever so apparently that was a good idea

Agreed, and it was clear how influenced by Ulver's bm/folk trilogy this band was overall. The footsteps in The Lodge are also a reference to Capitel III from Ulver's Bergtatt.
