kraut rock has nothing to do with the kind of music being performed, more about time and place

when i discovered prog archives on teh internet all i knew was the names of the bands and a few king crimson songs from a sampler CD

so i went around listening to the whole pantheon of obvious symphonic bands like genesis and ELP etc and found Yes to be the best cos of this album and Relayer

i find better refuge in the darker side of prawg though, Crimso and Henry Cow and Magma, they have more to say and a more dramatic way of saying it... Yes lyrics are pretty much drivel

Yes has never been about the lyrics anyway though

Magma literally use a made up language that doesn't make any sense, how are they saying more than these guys
