Album is so good but not the best of 2010 IMO. Janelle Monae, future Radiohead and possibly DEP are just as good/better

I was gonna 5 this. I listened to it last night all the way through and was like "WHY HAVEN'T I 5'D THIS?!" Then I got to This Place Is Death. Not a bad tune, but so boring.

This is no doubt an amazing album, but does anyone find the songs a bit too digestible? Also, if I listen closely to the guitar work, it sounds really simplified, barring some of the incredible Meshuggah flourishes.
