That bouncy riff towards the end is pure Leviathan, hence why it's the best.

I have never understood why people complain about Mastodon's vox. they're all different and slightly shite (minus Dailer, he got pipes), basically the way they should be for this type of music.

Yeah I've never had a problem with their vox.

It's their live singing. Aragon was almost unbearable during The Last Baron.

As someone who has only heard this, Leviathan, "Crusher Destroyer," and "The High Road," could someone please point me to which vocalist sings what? Some specific examples I could use help with:
"Oblivion" - I hear three vocalists here, but whoever sings the chorus is my favorite, at least on this song.
"The Czar" - The way [insert name of correct vocalist here] sings "ride the tides of blood" makes that stanza one of my favorite moments on this album
Title track - Which part is Scott Kelly's? (Asking this as someone largely unfamiliar with Neurosis - their only record I've devoted much time is Souls at Zero)

Brann has the most "normal" sounding vocals. He only started singing lead vocals on this album though, he does Oblivion verses.
Brent's are kind of nasally, he does the Oblivion chorus. Also the bit in The Czar you mentioned.
Troy's are also pretty normal but a bit lower pitched than Brann's. Troy can go pretty crazy though. He does the Oblivion pre-chorus.

Brent and Troy also do the heavy vocals but I think it's mostly Troy.
