dev: maybe not, but i would have still been curious. i get what you're saying about them trying to be different rather than just being different (but it doesn't seem THAT contrived to me). idk, i guess i'm just not that offended by them =/ i think mpp is a natural progression. now ODDSAC seemed forced (though mildly enjoyable at points)

They seem like the kind of band who would be terrible live. I don't mean that in a "shit music will ultimately lead to shittier performances" kind of way, but they've got a sound that would be hard to replicate live. That's if, of course, they were actually replicating, and not just playing it through a PA system

They streamed it and put these really gay hipster druggie visuals over it and I was like wow gay and turned it off

awesome i'll probably love it. i've purposely kept myself in the dark about CHZ and any songs that have been released so when i actually listen to it it'll be like that part in Aladdin when they sing "A Whole New World" and fly around on the magic carpet
