Yeah I think I might man - which is crazy because I was sure that would be my favorite DM release this year with Dying Fetus following closely behind it. But yeah, I mean I only gave it one play through but goddamn I am impressed.

Yeah man get on that Blessed/Covenant train buddy. Formulas and Gateways aren't bad albums either.

Covenant was the last album I liked from these guys tbh and even in spite of that I mostly just listen to this one

It's nothing like this. Stylistically, it's most similar to Gateways, but the overall pace is dialed down, complexity is ramped up and the production is a huge improvement.
