Why complain about Evil Woman when you can listen to a version with Wicked World instead? Debut is all killer.



I don't skip anything on MoR, I simply think that as a whole it's not as good as other albums. Major reason being Sweet Leaf and After Forever, great songs but they have much better openings in the first 6 albums.



SBS has often come close to becoming my favorite Sabbath but it lacks just a little spark in the second half. Who Are You rules, contributes to the album's branching out feel with its central part and it's pretty hypnotic in general.



Vol. 4 and Sabotage I don't listen as often as the others but still offer fantastic stuff, especially Sabotage

id probably have Master of Reality at a 4 instead of a 3.5 if it werent for the biblebanger songs. i dont care if an artist is religious, but when they try to blatantly shove that message down your throat (especially on a Sabbath record where their music makes me think of darker things and it totally contradicts the music), it really ruins the vibe.

After Forever's lyrics are laughable, agreed.

Yeah.

It's just not as heavy for me as the debut, yeah the guitar tone is more thick but MOR even beats this in that aspect. This is still a solid 4 for me, debut probably a 4.5-5.

Their first 3 are all hard 5's for me and hell just get the first 6 plus the Dio years. I have a hard time discerning between them, but if I had to sit and think about which is the ultimate LP..I'd probably say Paranoid. It really doesn't get better than that..nothing against the others either.. all collectively my favorite records for the last 30+ years.
