yeah channel orange goes hard too. thats one of the first albums i remember being rly excited about when it came out lol. that and GKMC are linked in my mind since they dropped around the same time. both were huge influences on my taste

Absolutely love them. I firmly believe Ego Death and Hive Mind are some of the best modern R&B/soul records to come out in recent years. Seeing them live during both album cycles also sealed the deal. Pretty sure the new one is in the works too

I just saw Carly perform live for the first time on Friday; she headlined Seattle's Day In Day Out Festival. Holy smokes, her show was AMAZING. I will definitely be attending more of her shows in the future.
