Hawks occasionally has weird opinions, as do we all. It is up to such people to search within their souls to pull out the truth that is within. The truth that we share but the one person doesn’t it. If not, he will be an outsider, cast out to eat the dust like the dawn of mankind. This is the way of man, starting from creation itself, and it holds true to such albums as these.

The faceless's always been a band that attracts dilusional crybabies and godawful edgelord purists. yall can pathetically 1, 2 or 3 this but the monolithic avrg withstands any pitiful trolling attempt out of sheer ignorance. no ones gonna remember u anyway

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand The Faceless. The riffing is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the riffs will go over a typical listeners head. There's also Michael’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his technical instrumentation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narcotics Anonymous literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depth of these songs.

@Hawks: I agree that some guitar play sounds generically technical. But rhythm wise this has a lot of substance in my perspective. Intertwined beats and speeds, progressions and flow, interrupted and counterpointed very effectively...
