If you're remotely interested in Norwegian black metal or metal in general then yeah go ahead and watch it. It has merits, it has flaws, but at the end of the day it's entertaining. Unless you're the type of person who shouts "but Euronymous didn't have a girlfriend in real life.. UGGGHHH!!" at your inanimate television it should be worth the whole under two hour commitment.

The thing that turned me off in the trailer is that it looked like some cheesy teenage drama movie that just happens to be set in Norway circa early 90s. Might just be the trailer though I don't know

I'm amazed that this subject still can get people agitated. Damn posers.

I only shouted at the TV when they added "let the party begin" to Dead's death note. that's not only unnecessary and disrespectful, but trivializes mental illness by lumping it in with the TNBM schtick.

I was just talking about the movie itself regardless if it was about unicorns or whatever. I couldn't care less about the whole drama associated with it. I'm just saying that trailer was as entertaining as a new In Flames single

@Hawks: I knooooooow, I'm super sad but those vox just don't work for me (...yet, I hope). Would love to get into this, because they've clearly got all the right ingredients and all.

Loved Deathcrush by the way if that's any relief...

Really??? Vox on Deathcrush are way more grating (still awesome) than they are here imo. Might grow on you though. m/

Yep I first heard this when I was like 16 or 17 so it was a shock. First time jamming Nattens Madrigal was even rougher lol.

Haha! Oh man, I remember that too, downloading individual Nattens tracks through LimeWire and being scared shitless. Those were the days...

Crazy to think how bm would become my fav cause I absolutely hated it at first. Prob the same for a lot of people though lol.
