it's pretty good i guess, but it's the most skippable on this by far.

Pink Cellphone is great, it's just the outro that's kind of "wtf"

Agreed. Sometimes I just skip the outro.

Yeah, I don't find any of these songs bad enough to skip, even Pink Cellphone. Definitely my favorite Deftones.

Howabout the part where she goes into the baby's room after hearing the baby monitor and sees the figure standing directly behind the curtain? That shit freaked me out alittle
|
| |
Nah, the part right before that with the dude screaming "NOW" (I think) was kinda freaky
Idk to me horror movies are usually scarier when you don't actually see anything

I agree but i feel they pulled just about everything off well in the first half of the film.

I enjoyed insidious just because of how bizarre it was. Wasn't the scariest film in the world but definitely offered chills and James Wan is an awesome director, so.

Finally coming around to this one. It might be my favorite Deftones now, minus Pink Cellophane.

Yeah I was skeptical about this one for some time, but it eventually just clicked, and every song became amazing. SO many good tracks. Hole In The Earth, Rature, Cherry Waves, Xerces, Rats!! Rats!! Rats!!, Combat, Rivere... like half the album is composed of perfect songs. That's why it's a 5.0 in my books.

That scream at the end of rats hits so hard

That's what originally threw me off a little bit with this album. His screaming style was so... high pitched? Very much like hexagram on the s/t, but all throughout the album. Eventually I learned to appreciate it a fair amount, especially at the end of Rats, Mongi.
