So I'm thinking...

Browns (just), Chiefs, Bills
& Cowboys, Rams, Bucs

only ones I'm pretty confident in are Bills & Boys + maaaaaybe (weirdly) the Bucs after those two (simply because the Eagles are an absolute shambles rn)

The rest seem like tight calls

Laporta’s injury tipped the balance. Also you have to go for the odd ‘upset’ and can’t just pick all the home faves etc.

I’m not saying I want it to happen and think it’ll be close, just a gut call

Dude I don’t think the rams are gonna win this. Our secondary is a huge problem and our kicking situation is an even bigger problem.

Yeah if this was 3 weeks ago I'd be more pessimistic but our defense has been legit phenomenal the last 3 games and we're getting James Houston and Alim Macneill back and our offense will be fine without LaPorta, who Campbell said has a decent chance to play anyway

belichick is going to the falcons and he's gonna bring mcdaniels with him and sign kirk cousins and a bunch of edge rushers and they are gonna be really good going forward calling it NOW

if belichick actually wants to keep coaching it makes too much sense. dude is absolutely awful at finding skill position talent and the falcons have all the young talent in the world, and the dude has been constructing top 10 defenses with scotch tape and elbow grease for 25 years. match made in heaven

feel like everyone's knee jerk is that the chargers are easily the most attractive job just cause of herbert. i'm gonna zag and say the chargers are maybe the WORST destination with herbert being literally the only saving grace. even washington seems more attractive with new ownership and the #2 pick.

the chargers are about to hire their SEVENTH coach this century despite having drew brees or philip rivers or justin herbert at qb literally the entire time.

I think we've reached a point where we can all collectively agree the Chargers job is vastly overrated, much like the team themselves. They've got a ton of cap tied up into only a few players, and their top receiving threats are aging and injury prone. Not to mention an owner widely known for being a cheapskate, which IMO knocks them out of any potential Harbaugh sweepstakes.

IF Harbaugh makes the move to the pros, he's gonna want somewhere where he can either win now OR dictate the course of a rebuild with a lot of assets and/or cap. Chargers have a decent draft haul to play with but that cap situation is a turn-off.

yeah i think belichick and harbaugh want both a blank check and full autonomy. seems like atlanta would absolutely do that. probably carolina too.

seattle and new england seem like they'll go for more conventional candidates. dan quinn and mike vrabel (respectively) make almost too much sense. tennessee seems like a prime candidate for ben johnson or bobby slowik

vegas have shown they'll absolutely swing for the fences given their last two hires but i wonder if davis decides against that this time given how badly they failed. antonio pierce seemed to do a great job as interim.

washington is super spicy. could absolutely see someone like carroll going there.

chargers?? who even knows. seems like somewhere sirianni would want to go if he were to get fired.

I really hope the Raiders keep Pierce, he did more than enough to earn the job

Keeping Pierce sounds like a good idea.

Which is exactly why Mark Davis is gonna hire Matt Patricia.
