I love how people come back from their live shows as if they experienced some spiritual awakening. I say that as someone who came back from their show a changed person. There were times I thought I was fucking floating in place. The lead-in to and performance of In Death - Is Life almost made me cry. Shit gives me goosebumps thinking back on it.

Honestly it did feel like a spiritual awakening, I have been having one of the most intense weeks of self exploration in recent memory since I saw them a week ago. It was like my brain got a forced reset. There were certain points where the lights and music were so intense I didn't even feel like I existed anymore haha.

I said to my gf after the show that I thought I had a transcendental music experience lol. So fuckin good

Honestly, their live shows are both too loud and too bright. I shouldn't be concerned about hearing damage even when wearing earplugs, and I shouldn't have to wear fucking sunglasses to watch a light show. When I saw them last, my eyes were shut for maybe 80% of it.

lmao literally me last time. was in the pit the entire main set and then was pretty much dissociating during the demiurge/fbm encore. had to come on here and confirm they were indeed slowing down future breed machine and i wasn't passing out.

My son and I were wearing earplugs and we were constantly adjusting them cuz we didn't feel like we could hear it well enough. It was a tad too loud without them from where we were but I wouldn't say it was overly loud, especially for a metal concert. And the light show was nothing short of life-altering imo

I feel you Ford I was constantly taking my earplugs in and out haha. I saw them twice one week apart, first time I was a ways back and just watched and I feel like the sound and lights and everything were perfect.
Second time I was right up front and in the pit for a lot of it, it was definitely super loud and less clear and the lights were kinda irrelevant that close.
I definitely got more out of the first show, felt like I got their message more, pit and all of that was fun but it wasn't as transcendent.
