Wonky and weird? How do any of their albums sound wonky and weird? They made by-the-numbers metalcore/post-hardcore, but they just did it extremely well. They weren't "weird" at all. It's one thing to evolve and change and show range. It's a complete bullshit to absolutely abandon your sound for a watered-down version of radio rock. Not only did the song structures become simpler, but so did the lyrics. And God, is this album boring.

Yeah, the three good songs (plus Happy Song) on the album, everything else is awful. Also I really hate it when bands release a single ages ahead of the album release so I discount Drown : P

Drown and Doomed are great, Throne and Happy Song are ok, but the rest is pretty bad. I think I have it rated at a 2.5 or 3 though so I don’t think it’s a terrible album or anything.
Amo is just alright imo — 3/3.5. Better than TTS though.
