Yeah underrated album tbh, Single Tear is one of their most finely crafted songs ever and has one of the most emotional moments in their discog.
Hot take for sure but I think it might be my favorite opener of their’s.

this is still really good because it is converge but can't help but feel it's the most "stock" sounding of their albums. just lacks a distinct identity that almost all of their other albums have. doesn't flow as well either to me.
since it is converge though has some all timers still single tear and t/t. plus really dig eye of the quarrel, under duress, i can tell you about pain. feels mostly frontloaded, bit of a dip post t/t but the closing duo really brings it back and lands the ship. thousands of miles is really a unique song for them. so slightly disappointing i suppose but only due to their god tier standards, great album. just bloodmoon and the new one now!

i really like how that one sounds like a more mainstream band in it's structure with the hook and is a bit more polished but just done by converge so it hits another level
