I haven't hit this thread with a czech Kiss in a long time, so

czech Kiss

It feels very much like a precursor to this and there are a lot of great songs on it (like Call Me Maybe!)

There are two Lorde albums, at least one Charli XCX record, Beyonce's Lemonade, and motherfucking Channel Orange standing between this and even the title of best pop album of the 2010s, nahhh

'10s AOTD was a pop record and I don't see it in this thread
Pure Heroine and this were somewhere on the runner-up list though

Peripheral Vision lmfao what permahighschool regression bit is this. best album of the 10s was Seiko Oomori's freaked up major label debut Sennou and her run before/after was the single most inspiring oeuvre. acquired taste for all the right reasons, nothing else q compares

Oh *your* aotd, I forget you speak about your opinions in the royal we lmao

I'm liking how this turns into Sonic Youth halfway through Over The Party so I'll let the prudish upturn your nose took when you typed that out slide

oh LOL, i mean that's case-contingent but i wouldn't be heartless enough to straight-up rec you this site's aggregated AOTD lmao
wrong album though (that one has its moments and is a loooovely slow grower, but you want the next in line for the grand slam)!

I always found Carly's records a bit more consistent than Charli but I know that's personal taste

I was all about Lemonade when it first came out, but tbh I NEVER listen to that shit anymore and I have it on vinyl

This and her next album are some of my favorite pop albums of that decade, will have to 5 this soon - there are no flaws here
