2nd half of Syndic Calls is prolly my favorite moment on the album, but the beginning of In Fiction is right there too

You know when a song gets stuck on your head? Normally it's some crappy tune that you don't even like but last week I had So Did We stuck on my head when working, specifically the drumming on the first minute. Today it was the end of Syndic Calls for some reason, I think I'm obsessed with this album when I'm working, which means I always end up thinking about getting home and listening to it.. again. Maybe it's the new work place, it does have good vibes and the people there are super nice. And yea In Fiction is a perfect track, agreed

Back in early 2000 I was dating a girl, and I took her to go see Tool. Isis was opening for them at the time, just after Panopticon came out. Was looking forward to seeing them live for the first time. My ex wasn't familiar with Isis, and didn't listen to any music like it them all. She was more into punk at the time. They opened with So Did We, and I remember turning to see my ex tearing up. Later after the concert ended I asked what was going, and she told me it was because the song was so beautiful.
