The only thing this has on the black album is a bit more speed and complexity. Black album is a much better written and produced album front to back. Wherever I may roam, and my friend of misery alone are stronger than anything here. It's not even really that close tbh and I no like 80 percent of metallica fans would say the same. This is good tho better than the last 2 records
