This album is a disappointment compared to the last few in that it shows the band really isn't evolving much, but it's still great because the songwriting is too damn fantastic to deny.

i think each album has a pretty distinct tone. yeah, theyre not reinventing the way they do things, but each album feels fresh, to me at least.
