The Christian thing can be up for debate I guess but they use a lot of Christian themes throughout all their albums and they're on Tooth & Nail which is known for Christian alt-rock. Whether they're Christian or not shouldn't necessarily matter because they don't push it in anyone's face but if you asked me, I would consider them Christian rock... Christian rock of the best kind, imo

I mean you actually look 11

I did not know about the church thing, though. I just don't think they're overly Christian in their message - sure, some songs could be interpreted that way, but overall, it's not that explicit.

yeah i mean i love shit like self starter and little tyrant but i cant stand it when they put the guitars into ballad mode and try to mesh it with his voice....

Agreed with Parallels their hard jams are soooo much better than the ballad ones. Stephen is also a heaps inconsistent lyricist

for some reason the band has these random songs of variable quality whose primary appeal would be teenage girls. besides lowborn and vital, i guess. but otherwise the lyrics are usually pretty good (blueprints aside)

Their best tracks are their long epics, regardless of heaviness, like Fin or Miserabile Visu.

After a year, I'm probably starting to like Lowborn more than this, but it is nowhere near a classic. But damn, this used to be huge for me, I can't seem to lower the rating.
