That true Storm? haha

I really didn't think it was that bad Mort. Stupefied for just how bad its lyrics were, sure. But Anti-Vist still holds more conviction than any of the garbage found on the last album imo. lol Just a complete cash-in move I thought.

"antivist is worse than anything on the new album"

i mean at least antivist is fun and moshy instead of sterile and boring like thats the spirit

"antivist is fun and moshy"

i found all the heaviness on sempiternal to be pretty sterile and fake tbh, thats why songs like sleepwalking on it excel whereas i thought the heavier tracks suck ass

whereas the muted production on spirit suits the style so i prefer it

antivist is neither fun nor moshy tbh its just pure cringe angsty bullshit

Suicide Season is probably their best album as a whole set of songs.

This just seemed far more ambitious and in all honesty, quite a bit more fun while still retaining the heavy aspect (but in the right ways). That's the Spirit would be my next favorite simply due to the fact that it's Sempiternal 2.0 but far more focused and better produced. Sempiternal would be my third fave.
