Listened again, enjoyed it a bit more, I feel that it could grow a lot but parts of it still sound kind of...amateurish, I guess. It's hard to describe.

I definitely feel something there but it's taking its time to reveal itself. Tracks 1 and 2 in particular are probably going to take a bit longer as they're not in styles I've delved into much before (and that I've tended to write off). They feel kind of incongruous with the rest, no?

Fair enough alt, I guess I just need to appreciate this for what it is rather than what I thought it would be/wanted it to be - approaching it again with the proper expectations I did "get" it a bit more so hopefully further listens will be even more successful.
