Yeah they bumped into near top position after seeing them live honestly, it felt like witnessing metals final form.

Yeah I'm at this point where I could easily call them my favorite band ever? The imagery of the album art and promo material, the members themselves, the sounds they make, the way their music makes me feel, their lyrics, their live show. Top of the game. I admire no musicians living or dead more than these fellas.

I have a whole new appreciation for what they are after seeing the live show. Ive never experienced anything audio/visual in the same universe as that, I was legit shook at how crushing and overwhelming it was at times.

Broken Cog might end up surpassing Ligature Marks as my favorite track on this record. This remaster has somehow breathed a lot of life into the album for me. I'm starting to have a newfound appreciation for it. It's gonna stay on rotation for a while. Bumped it to a 4. Might go higher.

fav non-broken cog track was definitely phantoms but also think that song prob benefitted the most from the og production. remaster might change my mind need to jam it some more first.

TMB is just such a cool jam track. They don't do many other (read: any) 10-minute instrumental tracks and the vibe is so chill and unique but at the same time so unmistakably shug

And yeah the remaster is fucking ace

Yeah this one definitely falls into the bucket of some tracks are better on the remaster and some are better on the original. Which frankly I love that. Gives both their place

Also if the remaster makes others realize how great this truly is, even better

Surprised this called for a remaster so quickly, what was the glaring problem with the original that it needed to be revisited so quickly?

Idk that anything was a "problem" per se, but the vox and drums are louder in the remaster mix and it sounds fucking incredible ngl
