confirmed to fuck harder on relistens
i like this more than 36 Chambers. gza's vision is more palpable and concentrated/distilled and is the direct hit to Enter the Wu Tang's shotgun blast on the rap/hip-hop landscape
insane to think something this avant-garde and wacky had mainstream crossover. the 90s were so insane for hip hop

I can agree with that. Sometimes a vision gets distilled with so many cooks in the kitchen. Doesn't make 36 Chambers less of a 5, just makes this a harder 5.

On 36 Chambers the chef was RZA, everyone else was line cooking. That's what made it such a cohesive effort, everyone working together under RZA's direction

I've only ever heard this and 36 chambers, I'm slacking hard. Gonna do a run through other Wu Tang related stuff.
