yeah these dudes have one of the weirdest most toxic fanbases in all of music. this is the only place on the internet you'll ever catch me talking about them lmao.
the main thing that sets them apart from the rest is the fans' postmortem parasocial relationship with the rev. some of the stuff i read online just makes my skin crawl.

The hate for this is unreal. I get having different pre-conceived dislike for bands due to image, blah blah, but this record should be studied. A band of this fame and caliber leaning into this beautiful mess of ridiculousness and standing by it is absolutely awesome. Every track is something special.
