You can’t remember much but it’s a 4?

The tracks rarely climax, for one, and what makes this hard to drool over like the rest of Tool’s discog is its lack of unique and focal bass parts

Still a 4 even though I can't remember much, yea. Every time I put it on I really enjoy it. Soon after it's over, the particulars are gone from my memory.

It's like an awesome flatness. Like a desert or the plains.

This definitely requires patience, I wouldn't call it an immediate album by any means.

Gunna have break and come back, could drop by .5 or increase by .5. Idk there are times I thought it was great, times I felt pretty mild towards it.

I dunno guys, this is the album that keeps on giving for me. I’m still spinning it on the daily and it’s not growing off me/burning out on me at all.

I admire your persistence. Good luck. This thing pays off in dividends if and when it clicks for you.

Yeah I can imagine! Such trance-inducing albums always do. When they click they are crazy addictive. This happens for techno too for instance.

We'll see!

I mean props to the guys/girls finding this 4plus worthy. I admire you for finding something I simply cannot.
