He sure did. He took his mic into the crowd for a dance as usual gave me a mid set hug. Some of the more 'metal' crowd just didnt get them it was fucking great. Because the have good haircuts and muscles instead of being fat with beards the more close minded metal fans didnt like them. I thought they were the band of the day again and got the best reception. Whole day was great though. Lingua ignota, mizmor, hell. All superb

Seems to be tradition for him haha. Awesome story man glad you had an ace time. Lmao, edgy trve cvlt atheist metal fans are the worst. Alexis shaved everything but the back of his neck for gods sake. How is that not hardcore enough for these people.
Full of Hell you say?

yesterday I was in a small, new alternative vinyl record store and overheard the owner talking on the phone to some business partner saying "dude, I need everything from the band 'Daughters' as fast as possible, especially their newest one. People keep coming here and asking for it" - ironically I was the first one to ask for a copy of s/t (I wasn't lucky). However, after that call I talked to him and he said he is excited for that gig and that he can not order "You Won't Get What You Want" from the record company anymore. Shit seems to be selling out. So nice to see these guys getting the praise and love they deserve. I just hope they'll buy back the rights to Hell Songs and s/t and reissue them. Will talk some sense into Nick Sadler when I see them haha

Usually I'd take the train to Hamburg cuz no one is coming to Bremen, where I live. But Daughters are amazing and fucking skipped Hamburg to be the only good band playing here this year and in a very small venue which was my fav rock/punk club back when I started studying

I think you get no choice. Once Alexis is in teh crowd pushing people about and dancing it kind of loosens everyone up. I think itll be great man ive seen them at festivals where the crowds havent even been their own and still theyve been so much fun

Closer is amazing, of course, but goddamn the opening run from 'City Song' to 'Long Road No Turns' to 'Satan in the Wait' is incredible.

Same here. Been listening the S/T alot. I always like the earlier stuff but it was mostly like 3/5 territory but this and the s/t are soooooo good and so removed from that real early stuff
